FUGE Fundraiser is coming up on Saturday, February 25th, 5:30 pm...Soup & Chili Supper, with Auction $5 for adults, $1 for kids, $10 for families, + donations accepted! We need people to bring soup and chili, we also need people to donate items to the auction (these can be good or services). The Winter Move...we invite you to experience the difference this winter at Edgefield, as the "Winter Move" went into effect on Sunday, January 1st. This is be third winter that we have followed this plan, which moves our weekly Sunday morning worship service to the warm, and cozy, confines of the Fellowship Hall. Also with the "Winter Move", a number of our Bible Study groups will relocate to the classrooms located off of the Fellowship Hall. Others will relocate to the main floor of the Educational Building. Come experience the difference! MOE (Men of Edgefield) Breakfast - is Saturday, February 25th, (;00 AM, at the Nashville Biscuit House, 805 Gallatin Road. 145th Anniversary Homecoming has officially been set for next year. It will be on Sunday, April 22nd, 2012. Mark it on your calendar now so you won't miss it! The Homecoming Committee has also been set. It will be co-chaired by Tim Kernell and Tricia Murphy. Committee members include Mike Brake, Christy Davis, Cheryl Frazier, David Goodman, Lynn Green, and Brenda Saunders. MIssions Night
is coming up on Wednesday evening, February 29th.
Celebrate Leap Day on Wednesday, Feb. 29 by joining us for Awana Missions
Night @ 6:30. Our guest speaker will be a young lady named Katie who took a
"LEAP of faith" on at least two separate occasions by joining missions
trips to Africa and Brazil. She will share about her experiences and her
testimony. Come, be encouraged, and discover what God may be stirring up in you
on Leap Day to take a Leap of Faith! The Centennial Campaign...for the next 100 years is an ongoing campaign, launched in conjunction with the centennial of our church building in 2007, to raise funds for upgrades and enhancements to help prepare our church facility for another 100 years of ministry. Gifts to this campaign should be placed in the envelopes that are labeled Special Offering, or in an envelope labeled Centennial Campaign. Gifts can also be made in the form of memorials and/or for specific projects and enhancements to the church facility. Please prayerfully consider making an investment in the future ministry of Edgefield Baptist Church! Boston University Alternative Spring Break will be returning to EBC next month as we will be hosting BU students on spring break, as they serve in our community with United Cerebral Palsy, building wheelchair ramps. This will mark the 9th consecutive year that we have hosted students from BU. They will be housed in the Fellowship Hall the week of March 11th
