The Winter Move...we invite you to experience the difference this winter at Edgefield, as the "Winter Move" goes into effect on Sunday, January 1st. This will be third winter that we have followed this plan, which moves our weekly Sunday morning worship service to the warm, and cozy, confines of the Fellowship Hall. Also with the "Winter Move", a number of our Bible Study groups will relocate to the classrooms located off of the Fellowship Hall. Others will relocate to the main floor of the Educational Building. Come experience the difference!
(Child care for pre-schoolers, 4 & under, is provided for all regular weekly activities)
Sunday:
Worship...10:00 am - Worship at Edgefield is summed up in one word; relevant. Worship is not an activity that takes place in the span of an hour, worship is a perpetual lifestyle, a constant outpouring of one's self to glorify our Lord. A corporate worship service is one way that believers can come together and lift up the name of Jesus as a body of believers. A combination of contemporary worship music fused with traditional hymns, videos, prayer and pointed expository preaching, are a few ways that Edgefield focuses on what the heart of what worship really is. We strive to be the worshippers that our Father seeks, those who worship in spirit and in truth.
Fellowship & Coffee...11:00 am - We transition from Worship to Sunday School with a quick break to grab a cup of coffee, a light snack, and few moments of fellowship with one another...Coffee & Fellowship, always a popular destination on Sunday morning!
Sunday School...11:15 am - Small group Bible Study takes place each Sunday morning with classes for all ages. Small groups are an excellent avenue through which to discover the truth in God's Word and how it applies to our lives. They are also a great way to make lasting friendships.
